Hey guys just wanted to let you know. I bought a 96 2500 Cummins turbo diesel. Ext cab 8ft bed and 4x4.

I got this truck for $1500. Some kids stole the radiator intercooler some interior parts and the batteries. I need to put some money into it but it is a real nice looking truck. Hope to have it on the road within a few weeks
Also the guy that had it was having problems with the U joints. So he cut them.... But he cut the axle shafts aswell. ( what a dumba**) but that will be a pretty expensive thing to fix

I need some intercooler boots. I don't want aftermarket. I just want some stock ones. The people that broke in cut these ones

Wow, that's a great deal! Congrats man...
Shop around for the parts, you'll find deals. You can probably get a new radiator cheap online, and get a used intercooler with boots from one of the other forums from someone who upgraded.

He cut to axle shafts to fix ujoints?
Good grief.... give that truck a thorough look over.
I would replace all serviceable parts little by little until it's been completely gone through.
Have the transmission flushed by a trans shop with a flush machine and provide them Amsoil universal synthetic ATF to refill it. Not sure how much life that transmission has in it, Amsoil will help keep it from failing.

well i got all the parts in it. I bought a used front dana 60 for parts. The transmission was rebuilt recently. I should have this truck road legal by next week.
