A few weeks ago my Dana 70 ended its life. I want to do an up grade to a Dana 80. My truck is a 93 W350 5spd dually with 3.54 gears. Does any one know what is the best year and model to get the 80 out of and will my stock rims fit? Unfortunately my truck is 275 miles north of me so I cant take measurements. I was told the spring are 47 1/2 inches apart, but that's all I know. Any info will be helpful. Thanks

Well I bought a D80 out of a 96 3500. It was a limited slip with 4.10 gears. I decided to get an air locker and get rid of the LTS carrier. I think I have all the parts and tools to put it together. I'm just waiting for a friend to custom make me a dummy bearing for the ARB air locker I chose to install. I am also installing an on-board air system with a York AC compressor. I will get some pics for those who are interested.
